An accreditation assessment is the wrong place to discover a gap. A mock audit puts your laboratory through the same scrutiny an assessor will apply, clause by clause or checklist item by checklist item, while there is still time to act on what it finds.
We audit against ISO 15189:2022, the CAP accreditation checklists or Joint Commission laboratory standards, depending on the accreditation you are working towards. Our auditors review your documentation, observe testing in progress, interview staff and trace records end to end, the way an assessment team does on the day.
You come away with a written findings report ranked by severity, a corrective action plan your team can work through, and a re-audit to confirm readiness before you submit your application or host your assessors.

Common questions
When should we book a mock audit?
Early enough to close what it finds. Most laboratories book once their quality system has completed at least one full internal audit cycle, and well ahead of the scheduled assessment date.
How is a mock audit different from an internal audit?
An internal audit is run by your own staff as part of the quality system. A mock audit is run by external auditors who approach the laboratory the way an assessment team will, without the familiarity that lets gaps go unnoticed.
Which standards can you audit against?

Can you audit only part of the laboratory?
